The 2019 Seminar on SME Cooperation for SCO Countries kicked off at SFTC

On August 14, 2019, the 2019 Seminar on SME Cooperation for SCO Countries, a new ChinaAid program, was officially opened at SFTC’s Huangdao Training Base. Ms. Cheng Wei, Vice President of SFTC attended and addressed the opening ceremony. On behalf of the trainees, Mr. Gulamov Akrom Isamidenovic from the Republic of Uzbekistan delivered a speech. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Tan Shuwang, Director of the Economic Management Department. Ms. Wang Baohong, Head of SFTC’s ChinaAid Office witnessed the ceremony.

21 trainees of the seminar are from various state departments and enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan. After the in-class training in Huangdao, the group will visit Donying and Yiwu to have first-hand knowledge on China’s policies supporting SMEs’ development and her experience in attracting foreign business and investment since the Reform and Opening up.
