President Diao welcomed the trainees and introduced Shandong, Qingdao and SFTC as well as the Seminar. He said, “China was among the top countries in service trade and cross-border E-commerce. As one of the demonstration cities of service outsourcing and among the 12 pilot cities of China’s first batch of cross-border E-commerce experimental regions, Qingdao becomes an ideal place for holding the seminar. SFTC has had many successful alumni over the years, who have founded more than 3000 enterprises, providing great opportunities for the trainees for future cooperation. It shall further enhance friendship and communication between China and APEC and BRICS countries. ”

Thirteen trainees are from 4 countries including Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, La República de Cuba, Venezuela and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. After the in-class training in Huangdao, the trainees will visit Hangzhou and Binzhou to have first-hand knowledge on China's achievements in service trade and cross-border E-commerce.
