On the afternoon of February 27th, Wu Congcong, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, and Shang Jing, Director of the Investment Service Department, of the Yellow River Delta Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone, visited SFTC. Wang Baohong, Head of the China-Aid Office, Jiang Lei, teacher from the Department of Economic Management of SFTC, and other teachers attended the meeting.

Wu Congcong briefly introduced the construction, projects and cooperation areas of the Demonstration Zone. Shang Jing made detailed introduction on the advantages of the Demonstration Zone from the aspects of policy support, development plans and modes with specific project samples, and expressed the strong willingness to cooperate with the training programs undertaken by SFTC. Wang Baohong emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two sides on the promotion of China-Aid programs. At the end of the discussion, the two sides reached preliminary cooperation agreements in many fields such as high-end agriculture, new energy utilization, and new rural construction.

The Yellow River Delta Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone was established in October 2015 and is the second national-level agricultural high-tech zone approved by the State Council after Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone. In accordance with the functional orientation of the Demonstration Zone approved by the State Council, the Demonstration Zone aims to develop a world-class agricultural ‘Silicon Valley’ specialized in high-efficiency ecological agriculture, scientific R&D and modern agricultural industrialization programs.
