On the morning of February 25th 2019, a special cross-border E-commerce workshop aiming to sharpen Business English students kicked off at Qingdao Cross-border E-commerce Incubation Base (CEIB). Prof. Zhou Houcai, Vice President of SFTC, Mr. Wang Yingxi, Director of BFLD, and Grade 2017 students from the Business English Program attended the opening ceremony for the workshop.

In his speech, Prof. Zhou spoke highly of the cooperative efforts of BFLD and CEIB, which brought new ideas for the cultivation of cross-border E-commerce talents through integrating enterprise and college education in real business environment. He also requested the students to make the best use of the opportunity to sharpen their hand-on skills at CEIB.

The workshop will open to Grade 2017 Business English students. They will learn both cross-border E-Commerce theories and will have hand-on experience using the real on-line trading platform. The workshop will last for 3 week for each class and the final assessment for the participants will be given by CEIB.

The workshop is a new try of BFLD on practical education and it will help improving students’ practical ability on cross-border E-commerce and lay foundation for their future career.
