New Talent Training Project Launched

On March 8 2019, eBay and SFTC officially unveiled a talent training project named “E-youth”. The project was unveiled by Pan Zhehu, General Sales Manager of eBay Greater China, Wang Dakun, Director of the Service Center for Qingdao Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, Zhang Zhenfei, Manager of Investment at eBay Greater China, SFTC President Diao Jiandong, Vice President Zhou Houcai, elite teachers in the field as well as sophomore students of E-commerce major.

Vice President Zhou Houcai welcomed the guests and introduced the “E-youth” project. While Pan Zhuhu presented the contents of “E-youth” and hoped students to make early career plans and take active part in the project. Zhang Zhenfei, as the “E mentor”, gave a lecture on “eBay’s Redefinition of Cross-border Retail Exports”, marking the first “E-class”. Facing a promising cross-border E-commerce market and a huge demand for talents, concluded President Diao Jiandong, students should make active use of “E-youth” to sharpen their professional skills so as to forge their brighter future career.

“E-youth” is another college-enterprise cooperation project after last year’s “National Cross-border E-commerce Talents Training Summit Forum” launched jointed by SFTC and eBay. SFTC students will be picked to attend the project and under the guidance of the E-mentors, they will do real on-line E-commerce transactions in the Cross-border E-commerce Incubator Base of Qingdao(CEIB). eBay will provide first-hand resources of online shops.
