January 6, 2019, SFTC President Diao Jiandong was invited to attend the 2019 CNQC Forum - Deepening Cooperation and Integrating Development and signed The Strategic Partnership Agreement between SFTC and CNQC with CNQC President Liu Zhenlong as a response to the “Belt and Road” initiative and the 19th National Congress’s emphasis on vocational school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education for resource sharing and mutual benefit.
Maga Binta Taza, wife of Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Highway Bureau of the Republic of Mali, CNQC President Wang Xianmao, Chunyu Xianli, Second-level Inspector of Qingdao Bureau of Commerce and SFTC President Diao Jiandong addressed the forum.
Prof. Diao highlighted the international exchanges, achievements of SFTC’s China-Aid programs since 2012 and its important role in promoting Shandong enterprises to “go out”. On top of this, the "Czech Overseas Representatives" training project, which has been included in the “Ruban Craft Academy”, a national training plan of vocational innovative talents, was also introduced.
In the The Strategic Partnership Agreement between SFTC and CNQC, the two sides agreed to join hands to build a good Liberian training base and several overseas training platforms in Ghana, Chile and other countries, to facilitate the construction of CNQC’s provincial cross-border e-commerce public overseas warehouses, and to launch school-enterprise cooperation to cultivate talents in international trade, international logistics and cross-border e-commerce.
In November, the ChinaAid Overseas Vocational Training Program for Liberian Youth jointly organized by SFTC and CNQC and supported by the Liberian government and Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Libya achieved great success. Vice President of Libya and Chinese Ambassadors to Libya attended the opening ceremony. After the training, some trainees were recruited as CNQC local employees and SFTC’s Overseas Training Center in Monrovia, Liberia was established, which is SFTC’s sixth overseas center after Sudan, Niger and other countries.
