Prof. Wang Zhong of International Trade Department has won the Qingdao Municipal Tertiary Teaching Excellence Award for 2011, the first of its kind granted by Qingdao municipal education authority.

Prof. Wang joined our college in 1992, after earning his degree in International Economic Law in East China University of Political Science and Law, and has been devoted to law teaching since then. He is the director of Staff Room of Law of our college and a member of the Law Association of Qingdao City and the Law Association of Shandong Province.

As a result of his innovative teaching and research in his field, Prof. Wang has received many honors including a Teaching Expert Award and a Distinguished Teacher Award from out college in 2001 and 2011 respectively, two Excellent Teacher Awards from the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and an Excellent Visiting Scholar Award from Peking University in 2009. The courses he offers and the books he has compiled, fully embodying the essence of his teaching reform and innovation, have both won several distinguished awards too.
