On January 4th, a delegation led by Chairman Chanchai and Dr. Bang-Orn from Bangkokthonburi University (BTU) visited our college. Madam Panadda, Director of Secretary-General’s Office, and members from Thai-Chinese Culture and Economy Association were also with the delegation.
A presentation of BTU was later given at the lecture hall with a 400-strong audience made up of representatives of faculty and students of our college. Party Secretary Mr. Li Liangzhai delivered a welcome speech and President Wang Rongchang presided over the presentation.
A video clip about BTU was shown at the presentation. Chairman Chanchai gave a speech and introduced the agreement of cooperation signed by both sides, pledging to subsidize four students from our college to study at BTU and inviting teachers to visit BTU. Dr. Bang-Orn, President of BTU introduced departments and programs of BTU and answered questions from the students.
The delegation later met with teacher representatives and exchanged views on issues such as procedures for studying at BTU, credits transfer, studying and living conditions in Thailand, teaching quality control and job prospects for graduates. The delegation also visited the school archives, student canteens and dormitories, accompanied by Mr. Li Liangzhai and Mr. Wang Rongchang.
The return visit by BTU was made after a delegation from our college visited BTU last September, during which President Wang Rongchang signed the agreement of cooperation with BTU on behalf of our college and arrangements were made on exchanging students, teachers, teaching resources as well as other information.
