The ISAF Sailing World Cup Qingdao 2013 is going to be held in Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center in October. The Sailing World Cup is an Olympic class regatta with the same events as the Olympic Sailing Competition. In order to enhance the international liaison and communication work, the Organizing Committee of the ISAF Sailing World Cup Qingdao 2013 has invited English teacher Ms. Liu Xiaolan to offer language service for this event.

Ms. Liu Xiaolan is the 8th teacher of our college to have been trained for simultaneous interpretation with the European Commission. She is a new addition to the English teachers assigned by the College to offer language service in significant sports events such as the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games, Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, to name a few, which not only demonstrates the language competence and interpretation and translation skills of English teachers of our college but also highlights the priority on language skills development, characteristic of the College.
