On May 15, a delegation of Dixie State College, USA, paid a visit to our college. The delegation were made up of more than sixty people, including deans of International Department, School of Business, School of Arts as well as some students and their parents.
The delegation was met by Vice-president Zhou Houcai of our college and heads of International Trade Department and Business Management Department at a welcome session where the two parties exchanged their opinions on topics covering further cooperation programs between the two colleges and experiences in teaching reforms.
The welcome session was followed by a variety of exchange activities featuring heated interactions involving students from both sides. The visiting students and their parents were grouped and placed in eight classes to experience the actual classroom atmosphere of our college. Through lively discussions on topics specially designed by the Chinese students, the hosts and the guests achieved better understanding of each other.
This is the second visit by Dixie State College, the first being in 2010 when the two sides signed a “Sister School” agreement.
