The 7th “Dong Yang Science＆Technology Cup” Foreign Trade Skills Contest for vocational colleges in China, hosted by China Association of International Trade and the Instructing Committee of National Education of Foreign Economic Relations & Trade, was held in Hunan International Business Vocational College on July 17-19, 2014. The SFTC delegation won First Team Prize after a fierce competition. Shi Xiu, a student from International Trade Department won the first prize in foreign trade documents skills contest. Chen Min, who came from Business Foreign Languages Department won the second prize in business oral English contest.

The Foreign Trade Skills Contest, including contests of foreign trade documents making, foreign trade skills and business oral English, is the top contest of its kind in China. Students from 95 vocational colleges, vocational schools and universities participated in this contest. President Diao Jiandong attended the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to prizewinners.
