In the afternoon of October 31, the students’ English Club held various Halloween special activities in the Global Village.
A horror movie Insidious kicked off the 1st SFTC Halloween Film Festival and led the participants into the Halloween atmosphere. The highlighted Halloween party started at four p.m. Passionate students gathered in front of the Global Village and dressed themselves up as vampires, witches, zombies, ghosts and etc. Lilly, one of SFTC foreign teachers led the Halloween Dancing and wonderful group dancing and solo dancing competitions had almost brought down the roof. In other activities such as Trick or Treat and Apple Biting, participants reaped candies, happiness and friendship, sending the carnival into climax.
Halloween special activities are conducive to stimulate the students’ enthusiasm for English and help them to get more insights into Western culture.
