Recently, SFTC was enlisted as one of 151 Experimental Schools of the National Digital Campus Construction Program initiated by China National Center for Educational Technology (NCET).

In order to implement the Ten Years Development Plan for Education Informatization (2011-2020), the Digital Campus Construction Norms for Vocational Schools, and the 13th Five-Year Plan of Education Informatization, the Ministry of Education and NCET initiated the Nnational Digital Campus Construction Program, aiming to promote digital campus construction amongst China's vocational schools and colleges and to boost a deep integration of information technology to vocational education. Each year till 2020, the Program plans to select a number of vocational schools and colleges nationwide as experimental schools of digital campus construction and to demonstrate the innovation and application of educational technology.

SFTC has always attached great importance to the digital campus construction and remains as a forerunner in educational technology among Shandong's vocational colleges. The college will continue its endless endeavor to promote informization of its daily operations and build its campuses smarter.
