Organized by the Qingdao Municipal People’s Government and Clipper Ventures Plc., and hosted by the Qingdao Major International Sailing Events (Festivals) Organizing Committee, the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Sports, the Qingdao Olympic Sailing City Development Association, the Qingdao Yachting Association, Qingdao City Construction Investment Group and the Qingdao Administration Center of Sailing Sport, the 2013-2014 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race Qingdao Stopover was successfully concluded on March 16, 2014.
During the Qingdao Stopover, Ms Liu Ling, a teacher of College English from the College English Department, was invited to offer language service. Ms Liu Ling, MC and translator for events and ceremonies such as “Welcome Ceremony”, “Awards Ceremony” and “Departure Ceremony”, was recognized for her work by guests and leaders of both Chinese and British sides.
The letter of appreciation from the Qingdao Major International Sailing Events (Festivals) Organizing Committee was sent in sincere appreciation of Ms Liu Ling’s professional service and contribution.
