On the afternoon of March 19th, Ms. Bethan Brown from the International Office of University of Wales Trinity Saint David paid a visit to Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College (SFTC). President Diao Jiandong and Ms. Cui Wei, director of Foreign Affairs Office received the distinguished guest.

After a brief introduction of both sides,  further communication has been made on potential cooperation between the two sides, such as the cooperation model, enrollment, degree-granting, and exchanges and training for teachers and students, and preliminary consensus for cooperation has been reached. Ms. Brown also attended a discussion with English teachers and student representatives of SFTC in the library.

University of Wales Trinity Saint David is a comprehensive public university in the UK. Its predecessor is Lampeter University which was founded in 1822. The university is one of the oldest educational institutions to grant degrees in England and Wales along with Oxford and Cambridge. The school has been primarily focusing on traditional disciplines on humanity, and offers programmes in international business, accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, business management, international travel and many other programmes. Levels of its education range from undergraduate to PhD.
