American guests visit SFTC

An American delegation, headed by Mr. Brad Owen, Lieutenant Governor of the state of Washington, USA, paid a visit to SFTC on April 6, 2016. Discussions have been made on the establishment of an SFTC off-site campus with Pacific Lutheran University.

President Diao Jiandong welcomed the American delegates and briefed them about SFTC. The Lieutenant Governor introduced the state of Washington and spoke highly of the first-class faculty and talent cultivation practice of SFTC and he expressed his full support to the establishment of the SFTC off-site campus project. Detailed discussions are exchanged in the meeting for future cooperation between SFTC and Pacific Lutheran University. A Framework Agreement on the Establishment of an Off-site Campus was signed at the meeting.

CPC secretary of SFTC, Mr. Yang Mingang, Mr. Chen Shouren, Managing Director of Pacific Lutheran University, and Mr. Darrell Robert Noble from the state of Washington and other leaders from SFTC attended the meeting. The titles of honorable SFTC professors were conferred to Lieutenant Governor Owen and Mr. Chen Shouren.
