On December 18, as part of the 2015 ‘Elegant Art into Colleges’ Event, a wonderful concert performed by the China National Ballet Troupe (CNBT) was held at the Culture & Sports Center of SFTC.

With a perfect fusion of symphony and ballet, musicians and ballet dancers of CNBT offered a feast of art for more than 1,000 SFTC faculty and students. During the performance, Mr. Liu Ju, the well-known conductor of CNBT, and Ms. Cao Shuci, the leading ballet dancer of the Troupe, made brief introductions to the audience on musical ABCs, classical tracks and famous Chinese and foreign ballet excerpts, and most importantly on how to appreciate the charm of symphony and the soul-stirring beauty of ballet dancing.

The 2015 ‘Elegant Art into Colleges’ Event is held under the theme of “Approaching masters, Appreciating classics, Cultivating art taste, Enriching art accomplishment”. It aims to integrate the ‘elegant art’ into students’ college life to enrich college cultural activities.
