A joint opening ceremony for 3 training workshops and seminars was held in Tai’an Training Base on the morning of 1st April, 2016. The trainings are sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, China and are hosted by SFTC. The three workshops and seminars are the Exportation Processing Management of Agricultural Products, the Agriculture Industrialization Workshop, and the Light Industry Products Manufacturing Technology. The 63 trainees are from 12 developing countries.

Mr. Shi Guangliang, Deputy Director-general of the Shandong provincial Department of Commerce, attended the ceremony and made a speech. Mr. Liu Mingzhe, Deputy President of the Academy for International Business Officials, an affiliate of the Ministry of Commerce, China, and Mr. Hamito, Counselor of the Ethiopia Embassy to China attended the opening ceremony. President Diao Jiandong presided over the ceremony.

Lectures, workshops, free discussions and study visits to enterprises in Shandong and other provinces will be arranged for the trainees. Special courses on International Trade, Cold-chain Logistics are added to the curriculum to sharpen the trainees’ knowledge and skills for their future practice in international business.
