A delegation from Haibei Tibetan autonomous prefecture government of Qinghai Province, led by Mr. Xu Qinggong, Deputy Governor of the prefecture, paid a visit to SFTC and a strategic cooperation agreement was signed on the afternoon of 23th March, 2016.
At the meeting, the guests first presented Hada, a special silk greeting gift of the Tibetan nationality, to leaders of SFTC. As a return, Mr. Yan Mingang, CPC secretary of the College delivered a warming speech. ‘It is both SFTC’s commitment and a requirement of the Counterpart Assistance Program initiated by Shandong Provincial Government to Qinghai province to promote a healthy and rapid economic development of Haibei Prefecture’ said Mr. Yang. He promised that the signing of the long-term strategic cooperation agreement would set up a useful platform for the mutual benefit and common development of the two sides, and that SFTC would make the best of its advantages in vocational education, talent cultivation, and industry background to pledge full support to investment attraction, brand promotion, commercial cooperation for Haibei Prefecture.
Mr. Xu agreed in his speech that Shandong and Qinghai have forged a profound friendship, and he thanked Shandong for its support in material, financial and intellectual resources for the development of Qinghai. ‘Signing a strategic cooperation agreement with SFTC goes with the demand of the times and meets the needs of economic development of Haibei Prefecture’, Xu said. He promised that Haibei Prefecture would give a full support to the development of SFTC, and his government would promote and transform SFTC’s scientific researches into productivity in Haibei Prefecture.
The cooperation agreement was signed by President Diao Jiandong and Deputy Governor Xu. Other delegates and leaders from Haibei and SFTC witnessed the signature. In-depth discussions were exchanged on the signing ceremony and both parties were confident for closer future cooperation.
