On the morning of September 22, 2019, the students of Grade 1979 Accounting Class reunited in their Alma Mater, Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College (SFTC), to celebrate their 40-year friendship. The reunion was also attended by Lin Lingjia, Secretary of the Party Committee of SFTC, Wang Zhansheng, head teacher of the Class, and other SFTC staff and teachers.

A publicity video clip of SFTC was broadcast at the reunion meeting, reviewing SFTC’s history and introducing its brilliant achievements. On behalf of all the alumni, Zhang Jianguo donated a painting of Chinese peony to the college as a keep-up.

Reviewing the good times he spent together with the students while at school, Wang Zhansheng welcomed the alumni and fully affirmed their achievements in the past 40 years.

Lu Jiqiang, Head of SFTC’s Finance and Accounting Department (FAD), welcomed the alumni and introduced the current situation of the Department and hoped that the alumni would actively participate in and support the development of FAD.

Zhang Jianguo and Zhai Hong, on behalf of their classmates, expressed their gratitude to the college and the teachers. They are also deeply impressed by the brilliant achievements SFTC has made in the past 40 years and will continue to pay attention to and support the development of the college.

Lin Lingjia introduced the unique advantages and the future vision of SFTC. He also highly treasured the contribution made by the alumni to the development of SFTC.

After the meeting, the alumni visited SFTC’s history exhibition, alumni exhibition, aviation training center, the global village, and the world cultural miniature landscape, etc.
