The multinational naval event commemorating the 70th founding anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy kicked off on April 23 in Qingdao. 25 SFTC students from the International Transportation and Logistics Department and the Economic Management Department served at the event, and have won praise for their high-quality volunteer service.

The volunteer students had undergone stringent selecting procedures including over-all personal image, banquet serving capability, English proficiency and teamwork spirit. They had also undertaken a strict month-long training before providing the actual service at the event. During their service, they had won heart-felt applause of the participants from home and abroad, the servicemen and the organizer of the event for their enthusiasm, effectiveness, and professional service.

The volunteer work is another high-end multinational event SFTC students served after the SCO Qingdao Summit. Their service showcases SFTC’s strength and the quality of its talent cultivation.
