Jointly organized by Students Affairs Office, Office of Adult Education and International Trade Department, the first job fair for civil aviation majors was held on Nov. 25 at Career Guidance Center. The fair was to build a platform for both the employers and the first batch of graduates of civil aviation major.
At the fair were seven air agencies with position offers related to air ticketing, customer service, accounting, etc. 51 graduates of civil aviation major took part. Students showed great interest in listed positions and made relevant inquiries. On the job positions, many of them expressed their interests in real practice and future career growth.
The attending companies were pleased with the solid knowledge base and a good command of English these graduates demonstrated and would arrange another round of interviews for some students.
The fair was organized to facilitate both parties in the job market and more light was shed on the demands of employing companies and the development of civil aviation major.
