On November 9th 2016, Professor John Robert Anchor, Dean of the Business School of University of Huddersfield, visited SFTC. President Diao Jiandong received the British guests. In the meeting, President Diao and Professor Anchor respectively introduced each other's school, the programs they offered, internship and graduates, and reached a consensus on the joint student cultivation mode. After the talks, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, planning to carry out student exchanges, academic exchanges and teacher exchanges.

Both parties also witnessed the opening ceremony of the 2nd class for the Master's Foundation Program jointly offered by SFTC and its partner universities from the UK and the US. Professor Anchor and President Diao addressed the class and presented pre-admission letters to every student.
