On May 25, the ‘2016 Cross-border E-commerce Training Program for Enterprises of Shandong Province’ was formally launched in Huangdao Furun Hotel, the Outsourcing Training Base of the College. The launching ceremony was presided over by Vice president Zhou Houcai. President Diao Jiandong, Mr. Zhang Peng, Deputy Director of the Division of Foreign Trade of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce attended the ceremony and delivered speeches respectively.

The program will train those from the commerce bureaus of the 16 cities and the 10,000-strong foreign trade enterprises in the province. The training program will include courses and lectures on the interpretation of cross-border E-commerce policies, the transition and upgrade of traditional foreign trade enterprises, the cross-border E-commerce platform construction, overseas warehouse construction, the cross-border payments, the custom and quarantine clearance, taxation, and E-commerce daily operations. The training program aims at both developing new trading formats, technologies, products, services and cultivating cross-border talents for faster international trade of the Province.
