May 17-19, the finals of the 2017 National English Speaking Contest for Vocational Students were held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.31 Non-English Major contestants and 29 English Majorsparaded into the finals. Lv Chao and Lu Xi, the SFTC students representing Shandong Province for the Non-English Majors and the English Majors Group, ranked first and 5th in their respective grouping. Ms. Wang Yan, Lv’s mentor, was entitled as “Excellent Instructor”.
