Investment and trade promotion seminar held for the China-Aid Program participants

Recently, a special seminar of investment and trade promotion was held on SFTC campus for the local entrepreneurs and the high-rank officials participating a China-Aid training program. Participants include some 100 entrepreneurs representing over-40 local enterprises, and 21 ministerial-level and section chief-level officials attending the Trade and Investment Promotion Program offered by the Chinese government. The foreign guests were from the Caribbean and South Pacific countries such as South Sudan, Vanuatu, Panama, Antigua and Barbuda, Kenya, Pakistan and Georgia.

On the Seminar, Mr. Gao Cheng, Vice President of SFTC, introduced the local economic development in Qingdao. The foreign guests made introductions to the local entrepreneurs on the business environments, investment opportunities in their countries, and expressed their wishes to attract more investment from Chinese enterprises. Free discussions were arranged afterwards and some preliminary cooperation agreements had been achieved.
