On December 10, 2020, the signing ceremony of tailored classes was held in SFTC. SFTC Vice President Cheng Wei signed contracts with 13 companies including Qingdao Hengchiyuan Trading Co., LTD, Qingdao Dilaixi Textile Co., LTD and others to provide joint tailored education bearing the companies’ name. The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Wang Jinguang, Director of the SFTC College-enterprise Cooperation Office, BFLD directors, related head teachers and student representatives.
At the ceremony, Ms. Cheng Wei introduced SFTC, and expressed gratitude to these companies. She hoped that the enterprises would integrate their culture, mission and practice into students’ education and offer valuable suggestions to SFTC. She said that SFTC would give full play to cultivate vocational talents and promote school-enterprise cooperation to achieve win-win results. Representatives from the 13 companies briefed their enterprises and put forward many constructive suggestions on education and teaching, personnel training, school-enterprise cooperation and other aspects.
The companies are currently cooperating with SFTC’s Business Foreign Languages Department (BFLD). The tailored classes are important steps BFLD takes to deepen the reform of education and teaching, strengthen the integration with industries, promote cooperation with companies, ensuring the educational system meets the demand of industries and facilitate the development of SFTC and related companies, and so as to better pioneer the foreign language education and teaching in vocational colleges in China and help SFTC build new heights in vocational education.
