On the morning of May 11, the opening ceremony of the "2018 Customs Modernization Management (Place of Origin Management) and Commodity Classification Evaluation Seminar Portuguese-speaking Countries " was held at the Huangdao Base of SFTC. Mr. Gao Cheng, Vice President of SFTC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Mr. Max from Brazil spoke as the representative of the trainees. Ms. Li Xin, CPC Party Secretary of the International Transportation and Logistics Department, presided over the opening ceremony.

The 35 trainees are from Angola, Brazil and Cape Verde, working at Customs, Food and Drug Supervision and International Business at their home countries. Lectures on various topics and field visits to Linyi, Shanghai and Beijing are organized for the trainees. The seminar will last for 21 days and the focus will be on the learning of China’s economic development and modern customs management system.
