The closing and award ceremony of the 14th SFTC Reading Festival was held in the Lecture Hall. Ms. Cheng Wei, SFTC vice president, Mr. Jia Guizhen, Party Secretary of the Business Foreign Languages Department, Mr. Wu Chuanwei, deputy director of the Finance and Accounting Department, Ms. Yang Qiaoyun, a teacher from the Common Courses Department, Mr. Li Bowen, manager of Chaoxing Information Technology Co., Ltd (Qingdao), Ms. Yu Yanwen, director of the SFTC library and over 300 teachers and students attended the ceremony.
Ms. Chen Wei addressed at the ceremony, saying that the Reading Festival under the theme of “studying Chinese classics for a wisdom life” was warmly welcomed and played an important role in cultivating SFTC culture. She also encouraged students to read more, especially those Chinese and foreign classics. Ms. Yu Yanwen concluded the Reading Festival. In the end, awards were presented to prize winners of the Reading Event.
