The English club held an activity named as “Ability vs. Diploma” on May 31st. Ms. Ramita, a SFTC foreign teacher, was invited as the special speaker to share her views with the Club members.
The event had two session, starting with the sharing of visions. Ms. Ramita and the Club members introduced themselves first and then shared their visions for the future. Ms. Ramita discussed with the students how to make practical plans for the future. The second half was a debate on which was more important, ability or diploma. Heated discussions and different ideas had been shared.
The event succeeded in improving the Club members’ links with the foreign teacher and in sharpening their speaking capability. Through discussions and ideas sharing, the Club members had a preliminary understanding of their future careers.
