On August 23-25, the Xinghuo Volunteers, an SFTC students’ voluntary service team, launched their summer service at the Language Training Center for Deaf and Mute Children in Huangdao District.

One-to-one care and teaching are carried out in the service. The Volunteers taught the children in the center to write, to draw and to fold paper figures. They played games together and various plants’ photos are shown to the children for their recognition.

The voluntary service goes beyond providing help to the deaf-mute children, and it provides better chances for SFTC students to know the society and to sharpen their skills on organization and communication.
