First Patch of SFTC Students Trained in Czech Republic as Overseas Business Representatives Finished

10 SFTC students have recently finished their exchange program with Ceske Budejovice Institute of Technology and Commerce and returned Qingdao on July 25. The student exchange program is aimed to train SFTC students as Overseas Business Representatives for Chinese companies operating in Czech. The 6 International Trade Majors, 3 International Transportation and Logistics Majors and 1 Business English Major from SFTC had conducted a short study period with Ceske Budejovice Institute of Technology and Commerce and then a 3-month-long internship with local enterprises in Czech Republic.

During their stay, SFTC students had worked as translators, marketing assistants and teaching assistants, translating travel brochures from Czech into Chinese, doing promotion and publicity for local companies and assisting the local teachers in the China Center of the Budejovice Institute.

The students have polished their English, professional skills, and overseas working experience during their stay in Czech. In their spare time, they also visited local enterprises, traveled in France, Germany, Italy, Holland and Belgium etc., which broadened their eyesight and experienced colorful cultures in Europe. They believed their internship with the Czech College and the local enterprises, and their tours in Europe would be great experience for their future study and life.
