SFTC Students Won First Prizes in the Shandong Vocational Skills Competition

From November 16th to 17th, the 2018 Shandong Vocational Skills Competition -- "Spoken English" Contest (Vocational College Group) was held at Binzhou Vocational College. Two students of SFTC -- Zhang Cheng from International Trade Class 7 and Jiang Xue from Business English Class 5 -- both won first prizes in the non-English major group and the English major group respectively.

This "Spoken English" Contest is the top level English skills competition for vocational college students in Shandong Province. It follows the standard of the English Speaking Contest of the National Vocational College Skills Competition and consists of 2 groups, the non-English majors and the English majors. The contest includes 4 parts: presentation, interview, role play and impromptu debate. Zhang Cheng and Jiang Xue have distinguished themselves from 51 players of the non-English major group and 18 players of the English major group with their smooth English expression, flexible on-the-spot response, wonderful scene performances, and logical debate.

The awards of the Contest show the achievements of English teaching of SFTC.
