On March 16th, Business Foreign Languages Department (BFLD) held a seminar on Japanese language study and culture comparison between China and Japan in Lecture Room A1, No.2 teaching building. Mr. Wang Zheng, supervisor for MTI postgraduates in North China University of Science and teacher of Technology and instructor with Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, lectured on the seminar. Mr. Chen Dawei, director of the Business Japanese Program, BFLD Japanese language teachers and some 200 SFTC students participated in the seminar.
Through his personal living experience both in China and Japan, Mr. Wang detailed the differences between language learning, daily life customs, taboos, public behaviors in the two countries. His lecture was hailed by participants and live interactions brought the seminar to a climax.
