Professor Han Lecture on Blending Learning at SFTC

Professor Han Xibin, vice dean of the Institute of Education of Tsinghua University and an expert in education informatization, lectured SFTC staff about blending learning in the morning of March 22th.

In his lecture, he gave a detailed analysis on the recognition of vocational education informatization, the blending teaching theories and their implementation practice at vocational colleges. Referring to the 2016 annual report on the Smart Campus Program, he pointed out the problems that vocational colleges encountered in the building of a smart campus, and suggested that blending teaching shall be the key tool in improving vocational education informatization.

In the afternoon session, Prof. Han shared his experience with all SFTC faculties. As SFTC representatives, Ms. Xie Yuefang of Information-technology Management Department, Ms. Meng Jie of Finance and Accounting Department, Ms. Chen Ping of College English Department and Mr. Wang Zhong of International Trade Department presented their findings. Prof. Han made comments on their presentations and suggested SFTC faculties to pay more attention to curriculum-guidance, task coherence, and schedule design tables. Teachers from SFTC Tai’an campus participated by way of live webcast.
